“DO NOT NEGLECT TO DO GOOD AND TO SHARE WHAT YOU HAVE, FOR SUCH SACRIFICES ARE PLEASING TO GOD.”
(Hebrews 13:16, ESV)
The Hungarian Reformed Church Aid (HRCA) is a public benefit charitable organization with a Reformed Christian background, founded on Christian values. Each year, we support tens of thousands of people in need through our donation programs, providing food, school supplies, firewood, and other essential aid. We also help vulnerable individuals and families through our social development and employment initiatives, enabling them to build a more secure future.
We place special emphasis on volunteer service and ministry among children and young people. We organize community events and summer camps, provide scholarships for talented students, and help prevent school dropout through mentoring and shared learning opportunities. During natural disasters and humanitarian crises, people in need around the world can rely on our teams. Through our social ministries, we also support people living with disabilities and those who have become marginalized in society. We carry out all of this in faith and love, following Christ’s teaching:
“It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
(Acts 20:35, ESV)
Across Hungary, more than 500 colleagues serve people in need together with over 1,000 dedicated volunteers.
Every year, tens of thousands of children and families living in difficult circumstances rely on the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid, whether they need emergency social assistance, long-term development opportunities, or support for social inclusion. Some of our best-known programs includeLove Bridge (Szeretethíd), Love Box (Szeretetdoboz), Christmas Dream (Karácsonyi Álom), the Nyilas Misi Scholarship Program, and the Rescue Teddy (Mentő Maci) Program.
