School catch-up and integration for children
I. School social work
Aligned with the aim of supporting school integration and catch-up, the activities carried out at school locations focus on providing advice, either individually or in groups (school community), based on the needs of the students (teachers, parents, parent associations, or migrant-background students). The support includes counseling related to integration into the peer school community and assistance in resolving conflicts arising from cultural differences.
II. Mentoring (supporting school integration and catch-up)
The mentoring aimed at supporting school integration and catch-up activities includes continuous supplementary tasks. These activities are aimed at supporting the school integration and catch-up of migrant-background children, carried out in individual sessions, based on individual needs, as part of the professional work with migrant-background children, as needed, either occasionally or regularly.
III. Tutoring
The Foundation’s mentor teachers, within the framework of tutoring, support the academic catch-up of migrant-background children who face learning difficulties or academic delays, based on development plans tailored to individual needs and related to subject-specific knowledge.
IV. School cultural program
We offer sessions in the form of extracurricular activities that promote group cohesion and integration into the peer community. The activities are organized around themes closely related to the professional activities of the project, with a cultural focus, in a school environment.
